Motivation has both a physiological component as well as a mental and emotional system in both good and not so good functioning! How to build in accountability.
Defining Accountability: For the purposes of this program, accountability means how we stay on task or focused and moving forward towards something we want to change, a new behavior, a different way of thinking or feeling, or anything new we are wanting to introduce into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Short answer? It's hard and takes extra time and feels glaring when we fail in whatever goals/tasks we set for ourselves, so we quit. Solution? A decision, the discipline to follow thru even when we don't feel like it, and clear, short term, and achievable steps as process and not HUGE big outcome goals most of us won't achieve. |
